Majestic Princess dining secrets revealed

Princess Cruises today released new details about the latest ship in the fleet, the 3,560-guest Majestic Princess which will debut in April 2017. Majestic Princess dining secrets and sophisticated public area and stateroom design features have been revealed.

Two new Majestic Princess dining options

Two new specialty restaurants will be introduced onboard Majestic Princess including Harmony – a haute Chinese cuisine restaurant, and Le Bistrot – a casual French, home-style dining option.

Harmony has been created in partnership with Chef Richard Chen formerly of Wynn Las Vegas “Wing Lei” (the first Chinese restaurant in North America awarded a Michelin star). Inspired Cantonese dishes will be served against the backdrop of pristine ocean views amid modern décor.

Le Bistrot will be located in the lively atrium and give a modern twist to French classics. Harkening back to an authentic Parisian bistrot, guests will enjoy traditional Escargots Casseroles, Braised Ox Tongue and Mushroom Ragout, along with baquettes, tartines, tourtes and French Patisseries.

In addition to these new dining options guests on Majestic Princess will also find popular culinary offerings from sister ships Royal Princess and Regal Princess, including the exclusive Chef’s Table Lumiere, the award-winning Crown Grill & Bar and the iconic Alfredo’s Italian restaurant.

Metal, glass and inlaid wood have been used throughout the public areas creating a sense of  elegance and glamour. European marble, mosaic tile floors, polished woods and sumptuous fabrics also featured onboard the ship. Majestic Princess even boasts hand tufted rugs with floral motifs located at the entrances to the main dining rooms.

All the staterooms onboard Majestic Princess will feature modern, stylish decor too, with luxurious high padded bedheads, comfortable sitting areas, tasteful art in every room and large flat screen TVs.

Majestic Princess will debut on 4 April 2017, sailing a five-day Adriatic Sea round-trip voyage from Rome with stops in Kotor and Corfu. She will spend the 3 months in the Mediterranean offering 7, 14, 21 and 28 day cruises departing from Rome, Barcelona or Athens before repositioning to her new home port of Shanghai for her first Asian cruise on 11 July 2017.
