Michael's Regal Princess cruise review
This was our first cruise and our expectations were high. The cruise was sailing to the Caribbean and ood friends had travelled on Princess quite a lot and told us things were very good on board.
Embarkation in Fort Laudedal was really quick and smooth. The rooms were ready not long after we got on board. The ship is very impressive from the moment you enter. The decor is pleasing and not overdone as I expected it might be.
The dining outside of the main restaurant was generally good. Alfredos was excellent. And surprisingly so was the buffet. The main dining room was just average, the meals were a little bit bland. Although the wine selection was good and the service was too.
We spent quite a lot of time using the pools on board which we enjoyed. Service around the pools was good. The temperature of the water in the pools was ideal.
What we were especially surprised at was the entertainment. The live shows were really enjoyable. They really targeted an adult audience who look for something a little more from the show and feathers and fluff.
As others have said on here getting a drinks package is a must. If you don’t individual beverages will be expensive and you will wind up with a big bill at the end of the cruise.
All in all we enjoyed our first cruise experience and we would definitely sail Princess again.
