Jonathon's Crystal Symphony cruise review
Having been cruising for over 30 years and latterly on Crystal and Azamara we were looking forward to an even better six star experience than previously. The “suites” larger balcony cabins and Crystal and Azamara were very nice and spacious with plenty of storage space.
However the ship is tired, carpets worn and furnishings in public area drab and in need of a smarten up.
Staff were attentive and generally the standard of food good to excellent. The evening entertainment was ok but limited and somewhat repetitive. A big disappointment was the spa and exercise facility. Loads of unused treatment rooms but you either pay a huge amount to use the speciality Thermal suite or use a minute mixed sex sauna and steam room. What a let down. Even Royal Caribbean do better than that!
